The Webnode website builder recently made some updates to its templates and website editor. While some users found these changes unnecessary and feel as though the new editor is generally less intuitive, Webnode still utilizes the same drag-and-drop functionality that makes website builders simple and easy to use. Adding and removing elements with Webnode is a breeze, and beginners will quickly and easily get the hang of the platform.
In addition, this platform is multilingual, offering support in 40 languages.

For whatever else Webnode may be, it’s certainly affordable. There is a free option available that will require users to tolerate a Webnode subdomain. The four premium plan tiers start at $3.99 a month and include Limited, Mini, Standard, and Profi. Each of these offers expanded features over the previous tier, and the Standard and Profi plans are the only ones that offer ecommerce features.

The fact that an affordable platform like Webnode offers ecommerce at all is appreciated. Though users must purchase one of the upper-tier premium plans, Webnode offers the ability to create a simple online store that enables you to add products and take payments via PayPal. It’s simple but can get the job done for smaller businesses. For more advanced ecommerce options, small business owners may wish to opt for an ecommerce platform like Shopify.
Templates and Themes
Webnode has a little over 100 templates to choose from. These templates can be described as good, but not great. It’s important to note, there’s a lot of variety— some templates are quite well-designed, and others look a bit outdated. One of the reasons it’s so important to choose the right template is because customization options are limited compared to Wix.
