Description

Located in downtown Carson City, Adams Hub is a business incubator that offers startups, entrepreneurs, and freelancers a collaborative space with coworking and mentoring. Adams Hub offers 3 programs — coworking space membership, virtual 24/7 incubator, and private office incubator program. A coworking membership includes 2 free sessions of mentoring/counseling. A private office incubator membership gives entrepreneurs access to a team of mentors via SBDC, in addition to conference room usage, private office space, and other perks. The virtual incubator membership is a simpler version of the private office incubator, minus the physical space. Members can attend their monthly events like motivation yoga, lunchbox learning session, and roundtable conversations.

Description

Entrepreneurs Assembly promotes entrepreneurship and innovation throughout its six chapters in Nevada by offering workshops and networking events. Anyone can join a chapter for free or start a new one. The current chapters are in Las Vegas, Reno & Sparks, Henderson, Carson City, Incline Village, and South Lake Tahoe. Seasoned experts are welcome to apply to become a mentor in his or her industry.

Entrepreneurship Nevada

Description

Entrepreneurship Nevada strives to bring together individuals and organizations in the small business and entrepreneurial community in Northern Nevada to foster growth. Their monthly member meeting is a good way to network and learn from people in the community. The current monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month (except December), 8 am at the Innevation Center, UNR.

Description

Innevation Center at the University of Nevada, Reno is a collaborative space that is devoted to connecting the university and community together through entrepreneurship and innovation. They have a coworking space and a makerspace for members. In addition, members also have access to different research infrastructures of the university, including the Nevada Center for Applied Research.  Membership is free for university students, staffs and faculties while community member can join for a fee. Some of the rentals don't require membership.

Description

The greatest strength of the SBDC is their free, confidential, 1-on-1 business mentoring for anyone who seeks it. Sometimes in order to be considered for mentoring from one of their professional business advisors, you may have to attend a class/workshop or at least present your business plan. SBDC's are located all throughout the state and you should use the SBDC closest to your location if possible, but you can often transfer to a different location if they do not fit your needs.

Description

SCORE (Service Corp of Retired Executives) is a leading, nation-wide organization that has assisted millions of entrepreneurs over its 50+ years of operation. SCORE is a resource partner of the SBA that offers access to a network of experienced business leaders who donate time to mentor entrepreneurs and small business owners. They also host free or inexpensive workshops online and at 300 local chapters around the United States. Mentoring can be conducted either in person or remotely and is always free and confidential, no matter how often you take advantage of this service.
