The Foundation for Exceptional Warriors
Since 2014, this nonprofit has given combat veterans access to free outdoor adventures to help them heal and reconnect to life beyond deployment. Through programs that include hunting, camping, water sports, and other activities, the Foundation for Exceptional Warriors (FEW) hopes to reward soldiers who served their country with chances to make positive memories and connect with fellow veterans who understand what they experience day-to-day. The FEW is almost entirely funded by donations — 95% of which go toward funding retreats and sponsoring soldiers who could benefit from spending some time in the great outdoors.

This Christian nonprofit provides emotional support and role models to young adults with the hope of inspiring them to become forces for good in the future. It trains young adults in leadership skills so they can be more confident and successful in their mission trips. This training has a twofold effect because it not only benefits the trainees who become better and more self-assured leaders, but also everyone they assist going forward.
