How to Elect a Registered Agent in Nevada
For your LLC in Nevada, you will be required to elect your registered agent when you are completing your LLC’s Articles of Organization.

Electing a Registered Agent by Mail, Fax, Email, or In Person
To form your LLC by mail, simply download the Articles of Organization ($425 filing fee required), fill out the required fields and submit a physical copy with the Secretary of State. Your registered agent’s name and contact information will be requested in Section 2. (Note that Nevada distinguishes between commercial and noncommercial registered agents.)
Note that your registered agent must consent to their appointment by signing the Registered Agent Acceptance form, which is found in the formation packet.
How to Change Your Registered Agent in Nevada
If you want to appoint a new registered agent, you will need to file a Registered Agent Acceptance/Statement of Change form with the Secretary of State (alongside a $60 filing fee).
Keep in mind that your business’s new agent will need to provide written consent by signing the form in order to be accepted.
